Hospitality Team Volunteer

Purpose

The Hospitality Team exists to help every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed, valued, and at home. Through friendly conversations, intentional care, and practical service, our team helps create an environment where people can encounter God and connect with others.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and church members with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Help visitors find their way around the building and answer basic questions.
• Assist with refreshments, coffee service, and hospitality stations.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere before, during, and after services.
• Engage in friendly conversation with guests and newcomers.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of hospitality areas as needed.
• Be attentive to the needs of guests, families, seniors, and first-time visitors.

Qualifications

• Friendly and approachable personality.
• Heart for serving others.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Comfortable meeting and talking with new people.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• No prior experience required.

Time Commitment

• Serve one to four times per month.
• Arrive 30 minutes before service.
• Stay approximately 15–20 minutes after service to connect with guests and assist with cleanup.

• Guests feel welcomed and valued.
• First-time visitors experience genuine connection.
• Church members build meaningful relationships.
• The church atmosphere reflects the love, warmth, and hospitality of Jesus.
