Epic Quick-Screen Requirements

License/Certifications: Oregon PA license (or ability to obtain) NCCPA Certification Ability to perform surgical assists and orthopedic procedures Schedule & Call: Full-time, day shift Shared call (schedule TBD; includes weekday, weekend, holiday, and 24-hour call rotation) Occasional weekend work Must reside in the immediate local area Core Clinical Skills: Surgical first assist ED orthopedic consults Inpatient floor rounding Pre-op and post-op management Ordering tests, prescribing meds, documenting progress/discharge notes Interpreting labs and diagnostics Joint/bursa aspirations, fracture reductions, wound care, digital blocks, regional anesthesia Minor outpatient procedures Assist in surgery (closures, appliances, delegated tasks) Primary orthopedic call for ED and inpatient units Practice Model & Team

2-3 surgeons High-caliber, collegial orthopedic service line Custom orientation based on experience Participate in multidisciplinary rounds Engage in quality, safety, documentation, and research initiatives Physical / Technical Requirements

Able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 75 lbs Adequate hearing/vision; fine motor skills Ability to function under stress and in emergent situations Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills Proficient in EMR workflow (Epic) Compensation & Benefits
