Pharmacy Technician - Corrections

We’re looking for you to become a valued member of the healthcare team at our client’s medical facility!

Pay Rate: $32.49 / hour

Details

• Full Time Schedules

• Some weekends may be required

• 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility

• Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

• MON-FRI0800-1600

Duties

• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision

• Receive and process prescription orders

• Label and package medications accurately

• Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies

• Process insurance claims and payments

• Assist customers with prescription pick-up and questions

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation

• Operate pharmacy software and cash register

• Follow safety, confidentiality, and pharmacy regulations

• Keep the pharmacy clean and organized

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the State in CO. The license MUST be in good standing

• 1 year of experience

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Compassionate and caring demeanor

• Familiarity with medical terminology

• CPR card issued by the American Heart Association

• Must have up to date credentials in the state of CO
