Lead PKI Security Engineer

Kforce has a client in need of a Lead PKI Security Engineer in Dallas, TX. Responsibilities:

• Manage and support digital certificate lifecycle processes across enterprise environments
• Administer and maintain cryptographic infrastructure and related security platforms
• Implement and uphold encryption, key protection, and security governance standards
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve certificate and authentication-related issues
• Automate security processes and improve operational efficiency through scripting and infrastructure tools
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and security of critical systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in information security, infrastructure security, or a related technical discipline
• Experience supporting enterprise cryptography, digital certificate management, and secure authentication solutions
• Knowledge of encryption technologies, key management practices, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with security infrastructure, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot secure authentication and certificate services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues
• Experience developing scripts and automating operational processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
• Security certifications are a plus
