Job Description Bank of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative for its financial center to serve as the first point of contact for clients, both individuals and small businesses. The role focuses on uncovering banking needs, offering appropriate solutions, and connecting clients with specialists. Key Responsibilities Partner with teams to provide consumer and small business solutions and strategies based on clients’ financial needs. Assist, educate, and train clients on conducting simple transactions through self‑service technologies. Leverage resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence and accuracy. Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines when performing day‑to‑day activities such as opening accounts, account maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping. Manage client interactions by taking the best course of action for the bank and its clients while abiding by regulatory requirements. Proactively connect with clients through outbound calls and conduct consistent follow‑up routines. Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship‑oriented, client‑centric environment. Enthusiastic, highly motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and a results focus, acting in the best interest of the client. Effective collaboration skills, building and nurturing strong relationships. Passion, commitment, and drive to deliver an experience that improves clients’ financial lives. Confidence in identifying solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients (in‑person and by phone). Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Effective time‑management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Notary commission or ability to obtain one within a few months of start date. Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours, which may include being scheduled at any financial center location within a reasonable distance. Desired Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field. Experience working in a financial center where goals were met or exceeded. Retail and/or sales experience in a salary‑plus incentive environment. Experience in an individual and/or team goals environment where objectives were routinely met or exceeded. Experience with financial information, spreadsheets, and financial skills. Knowledge of banking products and services. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications and laptop technology. Active listening, business acumen, customer and client focus, oral communications, problem‑solving, account management, client experience, branding, client management, client solutions advisory, relationship building, business development pipeline management, prospecting, referral identification, and referral management. Minimum Education Requirement High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
