Job Summary

Experienced Occupational Therapist needed for a full-time acute rehabilitation assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Adult Acute Rehab, Neuro, ICU, and Cardiovascular patient populations. This role requires excellent clinical assessment skills, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to support patients in improving functional independence and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, neurological, and functional impairments
• Develop individualized treatment plans and rehabilitation goals
• Provide therapy focused on improving:
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Functional mobility
  • Strength and coordination
  • Cognitive and neurological function
• Work with acute rehab, neuro, ICU, and cardiovascular patient populations
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs, and interdisciplinary rehab teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient progress notes
• Utilize Epic and Cerner systems for charting and workflow management

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy License in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in Adult Acute Rehab required
• Neuro, ICU, and Cardiovascular experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic experience preferred
• Cerner experience a plus
• Strong acute care rehabilitation experience preferred
