Job Responsibilities
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft tailored therapy strategies designed to help them meet their personal goals.
- Implement Therapeutic Practices: Employ proven methodologies to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living skills.
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, rounded care.
- Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers on therapy techniques for sustained progress at home.
- Track and Record Progress: Systematically observe clinical results and modify treatment plans as required, ensuring patients remain on a successful path.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institute
- Continuous education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
