Come join us on our journey!About the RoleAs a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. Your video interview invitation will be from HireVue and you will have 7 days to record your interview.Your video interview will be reviewed by the Amazon Hiring Team and you will be notified of next steps via email within 5 business days.Key Job ResponsibilitiesKey job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Promote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresComplete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentationTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and moreMaintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facilityBe able to move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and without limitation, as well as perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the headA day in the life• Perform daily equipment inspections and checks on conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and facility infrastructure• Execute planned maintenance tasks using CMMS system• Complete and document preventive maintenance work orders• Respond to and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issuesAbout the TeamThe Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at CVG9 is a vital part of Amazon's world-class maintenance organization, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our advanced fulfillment center's operations.
