As a Security Officer Access Verification in High Point, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment through visible presence and strong communication. This role offers the chance to deliver customer-focused, security-related service while working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vendor check-in processes, and document security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unauthorized access, equipment concerns, and other conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
