School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) – Full TimeLocation: Cecil County Schedule: Full-Time | 35 hours per week Duty Day: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM Grade Level: Elementary (6 schools total)Position OverviewWe are seeking a full-time School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to support elementary students across multiple school sites following a recent resignation. The Physical Therapist will provide services in accordance with students' IEPs, collaborate with school teams, and support students' functional mobility and access to the educational environment.The caseload is clustered, with coverage of two schools per day, allowing for efficient scheduling and continuity of care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct physical therapy services to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goalsDeliver services through individual, small-group, push-in, and pull-out models as appropriateConduct student observations, assessments, and progress monitoringDocument services, progress notes, and IEP updates in compliance with district and state requirementsCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other related service providersParticipate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and parent communication as neededSupport student mobility, access, and participation in the school environmentSchedule & CoverageDuty Day: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PMSchools: 6 elementary schools totalCoverage Model: 2 schools per day (clustered scheduling)Billable Hours: 35 hours per weekTravel: Travel time between assigned schools counts as billable hours but no mileage reimbursementQualificationsValid Physical Therapist license in the state of MarylandExperience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferredFamiliarity with IEPs and school-based service delivery modelsStrong communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsAdditional InformationThis is a full-time position serving elementary studentsSchedule may be adjusted based on student needs, IEP requirements, and school programming
