Key Qualifications:

• Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans (IEPs/504s)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
• Organizational skills to maintain detailed records and manage caseloads effectively
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ abilities and needs within the educational setting
• Develop targeted intervention plans in collaboration with educational team members
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Provide recommendations for classroom adaptations and assistive devices as needed
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions to maximize outcomes
• Act as an advocate for students’ functional success and participation in school activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing assessments and reports
