Judi Health is seeking a practical, business-oriented Contracting Attorney to support the drafting, review, negotiation, and management of a broad range of commercial, healthcare, client, vendor, and technology agreements. This role will partner closely with Legal, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Product, and Information Security stakeholders to help structure transactions, identify and mitigate legal and business risk, and support efficient contracting processes. The successful candidate will bring strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to provide clear, actionable guidance in a fast-paced healthcare technology and pharmacy benefit management environment.

Location: 3-days Hybrid (Local to NYC, Denver, or Charlotte)

Position Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements, including supply chain, vendor agreements, business associate agreements, non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, amendments, order forms, data-related agreements, technology agreements, and other contracts supporting Judi Health operations.
• Partner with internal business teams to understand transaction objectives, explain contractual obligations and legal risk, and propose practical alternatives that support business goals while protecting the company.
• Advise on key contract provisions, including scope of services, performance standards, fees, termination rights, confidentiality, privacy and data security, indemnification, limitation of liability, intellectual property, audit rights, regulatory obligations, and dispute resolution.
• Support contract lifecycle management by maintaining organized records, tracking negotiation status, helping improve templates and playbooks, and promoting consistent use of approved contracting processes.
• Escalate material legal, regulatory, financial, operational, or reputational risks to senior legal and business leaders with concise analysis and recommended paths forward.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with active membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of relevant attorney experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or comparable setting, with significant responsibility for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and resolve legal and business risks in complex agreements.
• Experience with healthcare, health plan, technology, data, privacy, or highly regulated commercial contracting strongly preferred.
• Working familiarity with healthcare and privacy laws and regulations relevant to contracting, including HIPAA and related federal and state requirements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver practical legal advice in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Comfort working independently while exercising sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues to senior legal or business leadership.

New York, NY Salary Range: $182,000 - $227,500 USD

Denver, CO Salary Range: $167,000 - $208,500 USD

Charlotte, NC Salary Range: $151,500 - $189,400 USD
