Facilities Engineering Project Manager
Help
Develop comprehensive facilities engineering project packages for the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance of real property buildings and utility infrastructure.
Prepare technical designs, detailed specifications, and CAD/GIS layout drawings for building utility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements.
Calculate detailed government cost estimates, material take-offs, labor projections, and bid schedules for competitive multi-trade construction contracts.
Modify existing architectural and engineering design plans to adapt to site constraints, improve energy/operational efficiency, meet ADA accessibility standards, or adjust to utility load requirements.
Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to monitor on-site contractor operations, evaluate contractor submittals for approval, and conduct quality assurance inspections against contract specifications.
Coordinate technical requirements across multiple projects concurrently, resolving field discrepancies, ensuring compliance with building and safety codes, and tracking project execution through final acceptance.
