Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Lanham, MD. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Current clinical experience providing restorative and ADL-focused interventions preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy or contract experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
• Experience with restorative nursing programs and adaptive equipment preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Work days: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat (per VMS work days listing).
• Meal break: 30 minutes.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
