Home Care Aide / Caregiver

Certified In Home Care Services

Job Description

The Non-Medical Home Care Aide provides essential support to clients primarily in elderly care in the comfort of their home, post-surgical recovery, and disability assistance. This role focuses on delivering ONE on ONE compassionate personal care and mobility support while fostering emotional well-being. Working day shifts under the supervision of a care coordinator, the aide operates independently with periodic check-ins and support from direct care coordinator to ensure quality and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care and hygiene needs
Support client mobility and safe transfers
Provide emotional support and companionship
Assist with light housekeeping and chores
Prepare nutritious meals according to client needs
Maintain accurate client records and report updates
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
Provide transportation assistance as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of home care experience
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated empathy and compassion
Reliable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

Home Care Aide certification
