Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care/Med-Surg - Night Shift

Location: Colorado

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shift including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients. Utilizing their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states, the nurse will plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg unit.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in call rotation and adapt to staffing needs as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry RN experience required.
• Current RN License to practice in Colorado.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
