Home Health Aide (HHA) – Weekend Position
Location: Columbus, OH 43215
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Position: Home Health Aide (HHA)
Client: Paraplegic adult
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide weekend care and support for a paraplegic client in Columbus, Ohio.
Important Requirement
Applicants must be experienced and comfortable with safely using and operating a Hoyer lift. Experience assisting with transfers and mobility for clients with significant physical limitations is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and supportive care.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Assist with personal-care needs as assigned.
- Provide supervision and respite support.
- Safely use and operate a Hoyer lift for client transfers.
- Follow the client's care plan and care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate professionally with the client, family, and care team.
- Treat the client with dignity, patience, and respect.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, home health, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift is required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.
- Reliable availability for every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM .

Key Skill: Hoyer lift operation and safe transfers
