Associate, M&A Team

The Amynta Group is seeking an Associate to join our M&A team and play a key role in supporting the broader M&A team in its efforts to execute on the company's acquisition objectives. The Associate will provide first-hand support to both the business unit leaders and executive management in the research and analysis of potential acquisition targets. As part of a lean team in a very flat corporate structure, the Associate will have exposure to and work closely with senior management, business unit leaders and functional heads across the entire organization. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities. We value individuals who take initiative, demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, and are adept at consistently following through on deliverables. In this role, the Associate will play a crucial part in ensuring success by not only obtaining the requested data but also conducting a thorough and insightful review of the information to ensure that the data meets the requirements of the deal.

Key duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following items:

• M&A Process Involvement

Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• 3+ years industry experience (Analyst level 0-3)
• Prior investment banking, accounting, transaction services or consulting experience
• Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance/insurance services concepts preferred, but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
• Ability to effectively communicate and implement strategic initiatives for the firm
• Open and flexible to changes in the organization and marketplace
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to travel
• Bachelor's Degree

Pay Range

$70,000 -$125,000 and will depend on several factors including geographical location, relevant experience, skills and knowledge pertaining to this role and industry.
