Industrial Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

We combine our strategic manufacturing capabilities with the power of our winning team culture to deliver unrivaled customer service, award-winning innovation, and premium products to all our customers.Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety proceduresSupport the installation of new equipmentAssist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtimeEnsure all repairs are documented in the CMMSMaintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fusesAdhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program and hearing and eye protection policiesPerform other duties as directed by supervisor and managementRequired Education and Experience:Work Experience: 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experienceComputer Skills: PLC's, CMMS, Microsoft OfficeCross-functional skills: Ability to complete multiple job assignments including machine operation, fabrication, welding, read PLC logic.Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift 100 pounds, walk, stand, bend and twist, climb ladders, work from elevated positions, operate fork, scissor and boom lifts, ability to see up close, in color and adjust focus, read schematics and blueprints.Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climatePreferred Requirements Education: Associate Degree Industrial Mechanical TechnicianTravel: No travel will be required.Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be able to pass E-VerifyWhy We are Different:At LIPPERT, Everyone Matters.
