Medical Receptionist

The Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers/visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Receptionist performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments. You will report onsite to the Clinic Administrator at the Conviva Care Center located at: 6182 Dunbarton Oak Dr., Suite B, Corpus Christi, TX 78414. Required Qualifications You will have a high School Diploma or GED You will have 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc. You will have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Preferred Qualifications: You will have Value-based care model experience You will have knowledge of Medical Terminology You will have experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records) You will be Bilingual in English and Spanish Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information: This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program Humana values personal identity protection. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $38,000 - $45,800 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
