The Physical Therapist (PT) delivers high-quality therapy services to patients while fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients, in alignment with Reliant Rehabilitation standards and physical therapy best practices. Responsibilities include patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs, and case management. The therapist upholds professional conduct and complies with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.

Key responsibilities include maximizing patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy, providing clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), supervising PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development, establishing and growing a robust physical therapy program, advancing clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education, maintaining a valid state license and staying informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations, understanding billing models and delivering care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes, adhering to infection control and environmental safety protocols, communicating effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, maintaining confidentiality as appropriate, and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
