Manufacturing Engineer

job summary:
We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in Largo, FL to work at an industry leading manufacturing company. Ideally, candidates will have experience as an Industrial Engineer or Manuacturing Engineer, but entry-level engineering candidates are encouraged to apply.

responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes.

• Reviews specifications and bid proposals and cost estimate requests to establish the feasibility of accepting orders.

• Determines manufacturability, investment requirements, product cost and delivery schedules.

• Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

• Develops processes, methods, tooling, and production controls for new products and programs; supervises their assembly and proofing.

• Monitors continuous improvement with regards to scrap reduction and uptime optimization.
