Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse Job Code: 2026-MONETTCLINIC-MEDICAL-374 Location: Monett Clinic - Medical Part-Time Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (Bilingual English/Spanish) ACCESS Family Care Location: Monett Medical Clinic, Monett, MO Schedule: Part-Time Pay Range: $17.00-$33.00 per hour Join Our Team ACCESS Family Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Monett Medical Clinic. This position plays a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in a fast-paced primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both English and Spanish and demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to serving diverse patient populations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures. Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments within scope of practice. Perform laboratory specimen collection and point-of-care testing as needed. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care. Maintain exam room cleanliness and stock supplies as needed. Support clinic operations and provide excellent customer service to patients and families. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: Current Medical Assistant certification or current Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Proficiency in both English and Spanish , including verbal and written communication. Strong interpersonal and patient service skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic computer and EMR proficiency. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred: Previous experience in a medical clinic, family practice, or community health setting. Experience working with bilingual and diverse patient populations. Compensation Pay Range: $17.00-$33.00 per hour Compensation is commensurate with experience, licensure, certifications, and qualifications. Placement within the pay range will be based on factors such as relevant Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse experience, bilingual abilities, clinical skills, certifications, and overall healthcare experience.
