Speech Therapist in Aurora, CO

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience providing speech and language services in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments

What You'll Do:

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to K-12 students onsite
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to coordinate student care
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and attend IEP meetings
• Utilize evidence-based practices and resources to enhance communication outcomes
• Remain up to date on best practices and compliance with state and federal guidelines

Role Details:

• Full-time schedule, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (32 hours per week)
• Academic calendar: August 13, 2026 - May 20, 2027 (with possible earlier start for staff days)
