We are seeking dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide evaluation, therapy, and consultative services for students throughout Lee County Schools. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside supportive administrators and student services teams while helping students achieve communication success in the educational setting.

As a School-Based SLP, you will be responsible for conducting student assessments, developing treatment plans, delivering speech and language therapy services, and maintaining all required documentation in accordance with district guidelines and individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Assignment Details

• Caseload: Approximately 50–60 students

• Grade Levels: Elementary through High School

• Hours Per Week: 37.5

Minimum Qualifications

Required

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment

• Minimum of 2–5 years of Speech-Language Pathology experience

• Ability to comply with all professional standards of practice

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

• Current CPR certification (if applicable)

• Current health certificate (per state regulation or contract requirements)

• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
