Country Manager Italy

About Our Client The Company was founded by a renowned internet entrepreneur who has successfully built, scaled, and sold several major companies within the tech and media landscape. Today, they continue to expand rapidly, with an expected annual turnover of approximately €60 million plus. The company is specialized in the combination of media, creative and data to deliver efficient and effective multiscreen high Impact advertising in Display, Video and DOOH. Job Description The Country Manager will be fully accountable for revenue growth, market positioning and operational performance in Italy, while acting as a key member of the international team. Key Accountabilities Full market ownership: take comprehensive ownership for the Italian market, including the development of a strategic sales roadmap, increasing brand and service awareness (e.g., through roadshows), and consistently achieving revenue targets; Business development: establish and foster sustainable, long-term relationship with Italian media agencies and direct clients; Executive negotiations: manage high-level negotiations with management and C-suite stakeholders; Strategic advisory: provide expert consultation to clients throughout the entire sales lifecycle; Market intelligence: leverage in-depth knowledge of the Italian media landscape to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendation to senior management; Industry representation: represent the company as a key ambassador at relevant industry events and networking functions within Italy; Cross-functional activities: work closely with the headquarters' back-office and international colleagues in neighboring regions; Organizational growth: build and scale the local sales team in Italy. The Successful Applicant Educational Background: degree or specialized certification in Sales, Marketing or a related field; Digital media expertise: a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of success in sustainable client acquisition; Extensive network: a robust network within the Italian agency landscape (particularly in the Milan hub or nationwide); Technical proficiency: a profound knowledge of digital marketing KPIs and a keen interest in emerging technologies; Native or full professional fluency in Italian and fluency in English are mandatory. Personal Skills Exceptionally organized, strong sense of intrinsic motivation; Creative problem solver and possess a "hands-on" mentality; Able to prioritize long-term client satisfaction and sustainable success over short-term gains; Professional presence: a self standing and professional demeanor.
