Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring current CO or compact RN licensure and multiple emergency-specific certifications.Details\n \n 50-bed Emergency Department staffed with 68 total employees\n Day shift staffed with 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics\n Mid shift staffed with 8-10 RNs plus mixed skill staff\n Night shift staffed with 7-8 RNs and 2-3 EMT/Medics\n Patient ratios estimated at 1:4 or 1:5, not guaranteed\n Uses EKG, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose testing equipment\n Meditech EMR used\n 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM shift schedule\n Requirements\n \n Active CO or compact RN license required\n Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department experience required\n Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC\n CPI Blue Card certification required\n Level II Trauma experience preferred\n Stroke experience preferred\n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration\n No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Provide complete emergency department patient care across all needs\n Collaborative, energetic team environment with strong communication among staff and providers\n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-749010.
