Production Technician

Our client, an agricultural industry leader, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the operations supporting seed production, harvesting, and processing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong attendance, customer service skills, collaboration, and basic math proficiency, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Rushville, IN

Pay Range: $19.50

Shift: Must be open

What's the Job?

• Receive and process trucks hauling crop from the field for weighing and unloading
• Complete a wide range of harvest activities, including husk and sort operations
• Operate dryer to dry crop within prescribed safety, quality, and financial requirements
• Shelling and storage of crop from bins in the dryer facility
• Support seed inventory management, packaging, and shipping activities

What's Needed?

• Reliable transportation to the work site
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds
• Basic knowledge of production agriculture and plant operations
• Willingness to work long hours and rotational shifts, including overtime
