Software Engineer Program - July Start

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We are pursuing a bachelors degree or a fifth-year masters degree, with expected graduation between July 2026 and June 2027.
• We will have graduated by June 2027 and be available to start full-time in July 2027.
• Our field of study is Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, or a related discipline.
• We have experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting software solutions as part of an engineering team.
• We write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language, following established standards and best practices.
• We use automation and modern tooling to reduce manual work and improve consistency across the software development lifecycle.
• We use approved AI development tools for tasks such as code drafting, refactoring, testing, and documentation, with proper review and validation.
• We critically assess AI-generated outputs and take ownership of final solution quality, correctness, and security.
• We follow responsible AI practices in engineering workflows, including secure handling of inputs and outputs.
• We communicate clearly in writing and verbally, document our work, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• We have a foundational understanding of software engineering concepts through coursework, projects, or internships.
• We can approach open-ended or ambiguous problems by breaking work into steps, experimenting with solutions, and iterating based on feedback.
• We bring curiosity about emerging technologies and judge carefully when and how to apply them.
