Details 30-bed Medical ICU setting Patient population includes sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, alcohol/substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week Fast-paced unit utilizing ventilators and central lines (dips) No on-call requirements Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Block scheduling not approved Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Level 1 trauma center required Proven success managing critical, fast-paced, large-scale trauma cases required Experience with ventilator and central line management required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates American Traveler Job ID P-752801.
