Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Dispatch Call Intake in Newark, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional in a financial institution location, you will monitor alarm activity, coordinate response communications, and support timely handling of security-related incidents. You will use technology to maintain awareness, assist with routine reporting, and deliver exceptional customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, radio communications, and service requests; dispatch appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Document incidents, critical situations, visitor concerns, and communications accurately and promptly, responding in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor access control, cameras, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity and escalate concerns to designated personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
