You will independently model, simulate, and assess high‑speed interfaces and translate findings into clear architectural intent and requirements. This role uses AI for work optimization.Responsibilities:Define SI architectural strategies for high‑speed memory and system interfacesPerform early feasibility and scaling analysis for future data ratesBuild hands‑on channel models across package, board, and systemDrive end‑to‑end SI co‑design with IO, package, and system architectsTranslate SI insights into electrical requirements and architectural constraintsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering or related field10+ years of experience in signal integrity or high‑speed interface designStrong hands‑on SI modeling and simulation experienceDeep understanding of transmission lines, jitter, loss, and crosstalkPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related technical fieldExperience with memory interfaces or high‑speed IO standardsBackground in architecture or pre‑silicon exploration rolesStrong communication of complex SI trade‑offs to leadershipExperience using AI/LLM productivity tools.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$177,000.00 - $387,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
