Overview Allied Health Professional // Phlebotomist onsite local contract starts 7/27/2026. Phlebotomist II — White Plains, NY. Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday; every other Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. NY State phlebotomy certificate required. Responsibilities Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices and procedures. Verify patient demographic information and initials, including post-venipuncture verification that tubes were labeled in the patient’s presence and that the name on the label is correct. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public. Qualifications Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime. Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record if applicable. Willing to travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations and to work at Patient Service Center / In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting. Demonstrates superior customer focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to embrace change; knowledge of the business. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Experience: Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.
