Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to seriously ill patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and overall condition on an ongoing basis
• Administer medications and perform complex clinical procedures as ordered
• Respond rapidly and effectively to medical emergencies within the unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
• Float to the Emergency Department to manage holds and occasionally support med-surge patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of ICU nursing experience (required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work in a staffing ratio of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to Emergency Department or med-surge environments
• Familiarity with regional referral center or high-acuity hospital settings
