Senior Electrician / Electrical Foreman (EV Infrastructure)

Job Overview

We are seeking a licensed Senior Electrician / Electrical Foreman to lead commercial electrical and Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects in the Richmond metro area. You will serve as the on-site field lead, focusing heavily on the deployment, commissioning, and maintenance of Level 3 DC Fast Charging (DCFC) networks.

If you are a master-level technical leader who can manage a crew, handle heavy commercial 3-phase systems, and coordinate seamlessly with utility providers, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Serve as the on-site Foreman managing journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
• EV Infrastructure: Lead end-to-end installation of Level 3 DC Fast Chargers (50kW to 350kW+), switchgear, transformers, and underground conduit runs.
• Utility & Inspections: Coordinate directly with Dominion Energy for commercial service upgrades and manage code sign-offs with local Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield county inspectors.
• Heavy Commercial: Execute complex 480V/3-phase service upgrades, panel boards, and industrial power distribution.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license (Required).
• Experience: 7+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, with 2+ years of dedicated experience leading Level 3 EV charging projects .
• Leadership: Proven track record in a Foreman or Crew Leader role.
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency with 480V 3-phase systems and utility-scale switchgear.
• Safety: OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred) and strict adherence to NFPA 70E.
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Preferred: EVITP certification is a major plus.
