Virtual Patient Support Specialist

Updated: July 31, 2026 Location: Raleigh, NC, United States Job ID: 17318 You’re a proactive problem-solver and have the ability to make customers feel like your friend. In this role, you will be responsible for providing inbound customer support in a virtual pharmaceutical contact center environment. Support is provided, but not limited to, patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and healthcare clinic personnel. You will: Provide timely and accurate responses to inbound calls, emails, and other communications from customers. Build rapport and establish positive relationships with customers by actively listening, empathizing, and demonstrating a strong understanding of their needs and concerns. Identify and resolve customer issues or elevate to appropriate internal teams as needed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in our contact center software system. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to pharmaceutical contact center operations, including data privacy and security requirements. High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or related fields. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Desired Requirements: Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on providing solutions that meet the needs of the customer. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
