GENERAL MANAGER

Luxury Private Island Resort

We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the day-to-day resort experience at one of the most unique luxury hospitality destinations in the world.

This is not a traditional General Manager position. This is not an office job.

We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who wants to be in the middle of the operation—walking the property, greeting guests, working alongside the Concierge and Front Office teams, checking cottages, talking with Housekeeping, partnering with Engineering, solving problems, and jumping in wherever the team needs you.

You will be the face, heartbeat, and culture carrier of the resort.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As General Manager, you will have direct leadership responsibility for the resort's property operations, including:

· Front Office & Concierge

· Food & Beverage

· Housekeeping

· Engineering & Maintenance

· Boutique Spa

· Guest Services

· Overall resort presentation and guest experience

Our restaurant has an experienced Area Food & Beverage Director, a Restaurant General Manager, and Executive Chef who are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant. The entire Food & Beverage leadership team reports directly to the Resort General Manager. As the Resort General Manager, you will have overall leadership and oversight responsibility for the Food & Beverage operation.

 

Your focus will be the overall resort experience—from the moment a guest arrives until the moment they depart—and everything in between. You will work collaboratively with each department and leadership team to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience across the entire resort.

The successful candidate will build genuine relationships with our guests and create an environment where people don't simply stay with us—they come back to see us.

You will personally engage with VIPs, repeat guests, and special occasions while building a culture where the entire team understands the importance of knowing and anticipating our guests' needs.

LEAD FROM THE FRONT.

We want a General Manager who believes that leadership means being present.

You will spend your days throughout the resort—not behind a desk.

You will walk the property every day.

You will inspect cottages and public areas.

You will notice the details.

You will talk to guests.

You will talk to associates.

You will help when someone needs you.

If Housekeeping needs a hand, you help.

If a guest needs assistance, you help.

If Engineering has an issue, you help solve it.

If the Front Desk is busy, you step in.

No job is beneath the General Manager.

You will have exceptionally high standards—and you will personally inspect what you expect.
