Position Overview:

Dishwashers at Meráki Greek Grill are the backbone of our kitchen operations. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization, ensuring our culinary team has the tools they need to deliver fresh, high-quality Greek food efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment

2. Operate the dishwashing machine efficiently and maintain its cleanliness

3. Properly sort and stock clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas

4. Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit, kitchen floors, and trash disposal areas

5. Assist with receiving and stocking food and supply deliveries

6. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines

7. Support the kitchen team with light prep work or cleaning projects as needed

8. Contribute to a safe, positive, and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

1. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

2. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

3. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

4. Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

5. Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred but not required
