Location: Chandler, AZ preferred; Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX may also be considered Employment Type: Contract with potential opportunity for conversion Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this position About the Role We are looking for a highly analytical and proactive Power Platform & Knowledge Management Specialist who combines hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience with strong knowledge and document management capabilities. In this role, you will help modernize how an enterprise organization manages documentation, operational controls, approvals, knowledge, and program information. You will work across Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot, and Microsoft Teams to consolidate information, automate processes, and create more intuitive ways for employees to access and manage critical content. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex environments, can translate business controls into practical workflows, and is comfortable recommending better tools and processes rather than simply maintaining existing solutions. Responsibilities Consolidate seven or more documentation repositories into a centralized, organized, and user-friendly knowledge environment. Design and implement document lifecycle and approval workflows using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Improve document governance, usability, version management, and overall information accessibility. Develop solutions that enable Microsoft Copilot to search and surface relevant internal enterprise content. Build a front-end user support experience for an enterprise application. Design and implement decision-tracking and approval-log capabilities. Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams communication and collaboration channels. Review program control documentation and translate control requirements into operational processes and technology solutions. Build automated and semi-automated processes in Power Apps and Power Automate to improve the execution and management of program controls. Develop scheduling and calendar-driven processes for recurring control activities and workflows. Design and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into program performance, controls, and operational metrics. Support proofs of concept involving Copilot and enterprise data integration to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiency. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, follow up on actions, and keep initiatives moving forward. Evaluate existing processes and recommend tools, automation opportunities, and design improvements. Support initiatives involving enterprise data identification, classification, information protection, and control execution. Help improve processes supporting data security posture management and cryptographic governance and compliance. Minimum Qualifications Hands-on experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform . Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse . Experience with Microsoft SharePoint , including document libraries, content organization, version management, permissions, and/or workflow integration. Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into scalable workflows, applications, or automated processes. Experience working with structured business controls, governance processes, document lifecycle management, or similar operational requirements. Ability to analyze complex processes and break them into clearly defined, repeatable operational patterns. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and proactively engage stakeholders to move work forward. Preferred Qualifications Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI . Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams . Experience with Microsoft Copilot , enterprise search, AI-enabled knowledge management, or related capabilities. Experience working with Jira , particularly as a data source for Power BI reporting and dashboards. Experience in a large enterprise, financial services organization, or other highly regulated environment. Experience supporting information protection, data governance, security, controls, compliance, or data classification programs. Microsoft Power Platform certification(s) . Experience designing solutions that automate or partially automate business controls and recurring operational processes.
