Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in medical device product development and design transfer to manufacturing . The ideal candidate will have started their career in engineering (R&D, Product Development, or Manufacturing Engineering) before transitioning into technical project management. This role will lead cross-functional teams through the successful development and transfer of new medical device products into manufacturing while ensuring quality, regulatory, and project milestones are achieved. Key Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Manage design transfer activities from R&D to manufacturing. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams. Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through production. Track project schedules, risks, deliverables, and resource planning. Support engineering change management and product release activities. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, design controls, and quality standards. Facilitate technical discussions and resolve project issues to maintain timelines. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience in the medical device industry. 5+ years of Technical Project Management or Engineering Program Management experience. Strong experience with Design Transfer and New Product Introduction (NPI) . Experience supporting Class III Medical Devices is highly preferred; Class II device experience will also be considered. Solid understanding of product development processes, manufacturing operations, and engineering documentation. Experience working within FDA-regulated and ISO 13485 quality environments.
