Planning Analyst

Job Title: Planning Analyst Department: Operations Reports to: Planning Team Leader Effective Date: 7/21/2025 Location: Adairsville Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Planning Analyst to manage business intelligence reporting essential to our operations and support with material resource planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of planning processes, inventory management, collecting, analyzing, and presenting business data, with hands-on experience in Power Bi and SAP transactions related to planning. Duties/Responsibilities Support material planning strategies via MRP to ensure accuracy of purchase requisitions. Collaborate with internal departments to understand and develop visual reports to improve key performance indicators and pain points. Build, maintain, and update Power Bi Reports, evaluate department performance, and communicate KPIs based on departmental needs. Monitor inventory consumption and support with solving inventory errors. Utilize SAP to create, update, and manage material data and to gather business data for reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Required Skills/Abilities Proficiency in SAP material master data and MRP transactions (e.g., MMO1, MM02, MM03, MD04, ME5A, ME55). Proficiency in MS Suite. Proficiency in Power Bi. Strong critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of inventory management and control. Ability to manage reporting insights across multiple departments. Problem-solving and decision‑making abilities. Education And Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in planning or data analyst roles. 1-3 years of experience in production or manufacturing.
