The company delivers trusted, innovative, and tailored solutions that support some of the world's most in demand and fastest-growing industries.With a commitment to legendary customer service, operational excellence, and global sustainability, Greif packages life's essentials - and creates lasting value for its colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.OUR VISION:To Be the Advantage That Helps Our Customers Win.OUR PURPOSE:Creating packaging solutions for life's essentials.Key ResponsibilitiesClass A Driving & TransportationOperate CDL Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers or day cabs) safely and efficiently between local facilities and vendor locations; no box truck operations required.Execute late-afternoon and evening shuttles, drop-and-hook assignments, or local freight transfers.Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractors and trailers to ensure full DOT compliance.Secure heavy loads properly using straps, chains, or logistics bars to prevent shifting during transit.Maintain electronic logs (ELDs), manifest paperwork, and delivery receipts with high accuracy.Warehouse OperationsLoad and unload Class A trailers using standard forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or manual material handling equipment to move manufactured tubes and cores.Stage outgoing freight to ensure a seamless kickoff for the morning deliveries.Receive and verify incoming inventory against shipping manifests and purchase orders.Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse.Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, closing down and securing the facility at the end of the 2nd shift (12:30 AM).Qualifications & SkillsRequiredExperience: Minimum of 5 years of CDL Class A driving experience.License: Valid CDL Class A License with a clean, professional driving record.Medical: Valid DOT Medical Card (must pass standard DOT physical and drug screening).Forklift: Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one via company-sponsored training).Physical: Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver items up to 50–75 lbs. regularly.Reliability: Strong reliability and the flexibility to work occasional overtime as operational needs arise.PreferredPrevious warehouse or cross-dock experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).How to ApplyPlease submit your application directly online through the Greif Careers Portal at greif.com/careers.
