Therefore, we deliver on-demand, sound, and state-of-the-art integrated engineering solutions to satisfy the complex needs of the sectors we serve.Due to continuous growth and client requests, Boswell Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Senior Transportation Engineer / Project Manager with design and project management experience for immediate employment at our South Hackensack office.Responsibilities:Project managementHighway design – horizontal and vertical geometry, superelevation and cross sectionsTraffic studies, maintenance and protection of trafficRoadway drainage design, guiderail design, and traffic signal designCurb ramp design in accordance with ADA regulations and guidelinesProposal preparation and business development efforts - especially with NJDOTPreparation of specifications (NJDOT and NJTA)Shop drawing review, QA/QC reviewsUtility engineeringCoordination with other disciplines, including survey, structures, geotechnical, environmental and construction inspectionRequired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (P.E) in NJ requiredProfessional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification is a plus!10 to 20 years of experience in the design of transportation projectsProject management experience on NJDOT and NJTA projectsWorking knowledge of MUTCD, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, MicroStation and GuidSIGNKnowledge of the NJDEP permitting processComplex roadway or highway interchange experience is a plusAdaptable to working collaboratively and building strong professional relationshipsExcellent written + verbal communication skills with above average organizational skillsstrong attention to detail, be proactive in nature, and have exceptional technology skillsBenefits/ Total Rewards:We recognize that the best way to provide services of the highest quality is by investing in our employees.
