Electrician

Now Hiring: Commercial/Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial/Industrial Electrician to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have experience working in commercial or industrial environments, with a strong focus on running electrical wiring and bending/installing conduit systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently on job sites. The electrician will also provide wiring for air conditioning and refrigeration units, utilizing power tools, test meters, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.

Responsibilities

• Run conduit systems and pull wires.
• Change outlets and install electrical panels.
• Bend conduit and perform wiring tasks.
• Work on construction projects involving 480v systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
• Install panels, breakers, and light systems.
• Wiring outlets and performing pipe bending.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical work, particularly in commercial and industrial settings.
• Ability to install and repair electrical systems.
• Proficiency in running conduit and pulling wire.
• Skill in changing outlets and running conduit
• Ability to read blueprints.

Work Environment

• Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm schedule with overtime opportunities available throughout the week
• Employees will work on commercial and industrial work sites both indoors and outdoors depending on weather conditions.
• Will typically work on teams of 2 to 4

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Tonawanda, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
