Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. At CVS Health, we support each person's unique healthcare needs in a leading retail setting, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others. Essential Functions (Responsibilities) Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively resolving potential service issues. Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items when needed. Accurately performing cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures. Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed. Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with all updated services and tools. Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, which may include working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities. Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Qualifications Required At least 18 years of age. Physical requirements: remaining upright on your feet for prolonged periods; lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently; visual acuity for computer terminal usage, reading, and visual inspections. Must be able to work nights until midnight and weekends. Preferred Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Compensation Anticipated Weekly Hours: 15. Time Type: Part time. Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary, depending on experience, education, geography and other factors).
