Operator, Die Cutter

Description Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 9:45pm - 6:15am Job Summary Set-up and run die cutting equipment, maintaining good quality, productivity, and work attitude. Job Description Set-up and run die cutting equipment. Maintain standard of quality. Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting assistant/department manager. Keep the work area clean and orderly. Work overtime when needed. Report accurate time and quantities using the “ELF” systems. Be responsible for maintaining glue inventory. Other duties as assigned.

None Requirements Minimum Qualifications of Position High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience 1 year die cutting experience on any material. Preferred Qualifications of Position Large Format Die cutting experience. Knowledge and Skills Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds. Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions. Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up. Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation. Supports a safe work environment. Knowledge of production materials. Working Conditions and Physical Requirement Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors. Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping. Manual dexterity for repetitive work. Frequent walking and standing.
