About the Position

Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred License: Active license required Certifications: - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred - ACLS - BLS - CRT - Ohio State License Must-Have: - High School Diploma and College Diploma and/or transcripts required - Previous travel experience preferred Description: Weekends required. 3x12-hour shifts (night shift). Floating between campuses may be required. Patient ratio: Not applicable. Equipment: GE ventilators. Candidate must have an active license in hand prior to submission. Travel experience is preferred. Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with adult critical care and emergency department. Skills required include aerosol setup, bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP), and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs). Compassionate care for adult and geriatric patients is essential. Candidates must be aware of compliance deadlines and credentialing procedures. Two professional references are required, including at least one from a manager or supervisor. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as travelers. Education must be from an accredited program.
