Description:
Vascular Surgeon locum needed.
The assignment has potential for extension.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, dependent on surgical and office days.
Weekend call is from 7 AM to 7 AM, with potential for rounding based on patient needs.
Call responsibilities include 1 to 3 calls per week, primarily for post-operative coverage.
The average number of patients is 16 to 18 per day.
Procedures include bread and butter vascular cases and endovascular procedures.
Full scope of vascular procedures is required, with no open AAA cases.
There is APP support available, with 2 APPs on staff.
The position involves solo physician coverage.
Electronic Medical Records system used is Meditech for hospital and eClinical Works for clinic.
Expedited credentialing is available for candidates with a clean background.
Light call coverage is required for post-operative complications.
