AI SOLUTIONS ENGINEER

Location; Huntington Beach, CA (Hybrid preferred, remote acceptable)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on AI Solutions Developer to lead the development of practical artificial intelligence and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across the organization.

This role will work closely with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to identify manual processes, streamline workflows, and implement scalable AI-powered tools that create measurable business value. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with a passion for solving real-world business problems using modern AI technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation and AI enhancement.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered business applications and workflow solutions.
• Build integrations between internal systems, APIs, databases, and AI platforms.
• Develop internal AI assistants, search tools, and knowledge management solutions.
• Automate repetitive administrative and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with department leaders to prioritize AI initiatives with measurable ROI.
• Create dashboards, analytics tools, and process monitoring solutions.
• Ensure secure, responsible, and compliant use of AI technologies.
• Document architecture, workflows, and technical processes.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical business applications.
• Support ongoing optimization and maintenance of AI-enabled systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Python development.
• Experience building APIs and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with generative AI technologies and large language model (LLM) platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms.
• Experience with workflow automation tools and business process optimization.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with vector databases and AI search solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform or Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, or operational systems.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, and compliance considerations.
• Experience deploying and supporting production AI applications.
