From the first words of a toddler to the important milestones of seniors, your work will inspire, heal, and create bonds that matter.
In this dynamic role, you'll engage with clients of all ages, working in a mix of outpatient therapy settings while occasionally providing vital inpatient services. Your Responsibilities
- Assess patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics using a variety of standardized and observational methods.
- Create custom-tailored treatment plans that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions covering areas of communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
- Work closely alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care approaches.
- Educate patients and their families to reinforce practice beyond therapy sessions.
- Conduct occasional evaluations and interventions for inpatient speech therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the healing process.
- Keep meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Engage in continuous education and collaboration with peers to stay updated on advancements in the field.
Education Needed
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not obtained yet.
Required Credentials
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of starting.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques for various age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills tailored to engaging patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to adapt therapy methodologies to accommodate cultural and linguistic differences.
- Strong analytical and clinical judgment accompanied by effective problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and related documentation procedures.
What We Offer
- Attractive salary reflecting your experience and expertise.
- Flexible work hours to promote a healthy work-life balance alongside diverse caseloads.
- Specialization opportunities available in fields like pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
- Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
- Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
- Support for continuing education and opportunities for professional growth.
- A nurturing, teamwork-driven environment that emphasizes quality of care and lifelong education.

You'll collaborate with a team that values camaraderie, believing that success is sweetest when shared. Each patient's journey is unique, and we trust you to help narrate that story in a powerful way.
